Congratulations to our Class of 2022!
The Fall/Summer 2022 Ceremony was held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at the Broadmoor World Arena.
Ready to Graduate?
Step 1 - Apply for Graduation
Undergraduate Students must submit their graduation application at least 90 days before Commencement.
Graduate Students should begin their graduation application process at least two semesters before completing your program.
Step 2 - Register for the Ceremony
To participate in the Commencement ceremony, please register to attend.
Step 3 - Attend Commencement
Graduates should plan to arrive at the Commencement Ceremony between 1 – 1:30 pm. Doors open at 12:30 pm.
COVID-19
We cannot predict what may happen with COVID variants between now and the event; however, at this time, we would like to invite the families and friends of our graduates to join us for the Commencement ceremony, with the following stipulations:
Mask-Friendly Event
All attendees – graduates, guests, University administrators, faculty, and staff, are welcome to wear a mask while attending the ceremony.
Recommendations for Additional COVID Safety Precautions
UCCS strongly recommends all attendees be vaccinated. If you are unvaccinated, we strongly recommend testing 1-2 days before the day of the event.
If you are showing signs of illness, are isolated, or are quarantined - please refrain from attending the event and participate by watching this event via our live stream option.
We ask that graduates limit their number of guests to reduce increased exposure risk. Guests should take note of their seating section - to aid in contact tracing efforts should a positive COVID case be reported.

Guest Attendance Modification: If there is an increase in COVID cases within El Paso County or other incidents that create a cause for concern, UCCS may decide to either 1) limit guests or 2) exclude guests and hold the ceremony for graduates only.
